A Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps, Steve is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years in public practice. Steve spent 10 years as a revenue agent with the IRS specializing in exempt organizations prior to founding his successful public accounting practice in Dallas, Texas.
Steve played a significant role in the development of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund of Texas beginning in 1984. The Memorial was dedicated by President George H. Bush in November 1989 at Fair Park of Dallas, home of the State Fair of Texas. Five tablets of Texas granite bear the names of Texans killed or missing in action. The Memorial was completed with the effort of many people including Art Ruff, U.S. Army, Richard Martratt, USMC, Neal Pointer, U.S. Army, Glen Gardner, USMC, National Commander Veterans of Foreign Wars, and many others.
